About Heather Rushton :

Heather has been an artist her entire life, inspired early on by her parents and other talented family members. She pursued her passion by majoring in Fine Art at Cal State University Long Beach, and later spent many years working in the art department within the film industry.

After starting her own family, Heather found that teaching art to children was a better fit for her lifestyle. In the process, she developed a whole new skill set and discovered a deep sense of fulfillment in guiding others through the creative process.

Over time, Heather expanded her teaching to include adults of all ages, eventually branching into paint-and-sip events. By combining her love of creativity and community, she now brings her events on the road with Painting & Vino, creating joyful, memorable art experiences throughout San Diego.
