Join us for a fun outdoor painting class as we paint "Ocean's Palms" while you sip your favorite adult beverage at the beautiful Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.  You will be guided step-by-step through the entire painting process by fun and entertaining artist & instructor Darrin Fuller.  Social distancing and safety concerns will be observed as Painting & Vino staff remain masked throughout the event.  Masks will be required while on the property but may be removed for eating and drinking.

You're sure to enjoy a fun & creative afternoon as you produce your very own masterpiece!  All materials and supplies are provided.  No experience necessary. A special chef inspired small bites and drink menu will be provided at excellent prices and can be purchased separately. Free self parking will be validated during the event. Please arrive early to allow for parking, check in and to order your first drink and food items. Event begins promptly at 1:00 so be ready to have fun!

We encourage artistic freedom!  You can alter the painting to fit your own style and are welcome to use any of our colors.

  • 48-hour notice for cancellations/ rescheduling. 
  • Check-in begins 15 minutes before the event start time. Give yourself time to Set Up so you do not start late.
  • All ages are welcome at this event

  • Master Artist

    Darrin grew up believing he was destined for a life in the military.  He was told as a small boy that he was going to be an Art major.  The only Majors that the little fellow was familiar with were in the military!  Darrin loved drawing and painting as a young man, and began oil painting at age 12.  He was soon selling his paintings at local art & craft shows and bazaars.  He continued to refine his skills with brush & paint in college where he chose to major also in Business Administration.  He wanted to pursue the "business" of art in addition to the creative element. Upon graduation with a B.A. in both Art and Business from Taylor University, Darrin chose to continue his art education at Art Center College of Design where he graduated with honors receiving a B.F.A. in Illustration.  During his final term of art school Darrin was recruited by Sierra On-Line to create art for video games.  Darrin continued in the video game industry for   [Learn More...]
