The Garbatella Osteria team is thrilled to open their first US restaurant in Chula Vista, San Diego. Garbatella is an homage to the history and Chef Antonio’s home. It is not only the name of his old neighborhood in Rome, but it is also translated to “Humble” (Garbata) “Beauty” (Bella)—a name they saw fitting. The Garbata team selected the Otay Ranch neighborhood after watching its growth, and admiring the family and community values of the area. Garbata Osteria Bar is thrilled to finally be opening and sharing the love for food, family and gathering with the residents of Chula Vista.
