Join us for a relaxing and inspiring afternoon by the coast as we gather for a special community creative workshop led by talented local artists! This unique Pet Portrait Paint & Sip experience invites you to celebrate your furry (or feathered!) best friend through art.
After purchasing your ticket, simply submit a high-quality photo of your pet taken at eye level and in good lighting through our website. Our artists will carefully and skillfully transfer your pet’s image onto canvas ahead of time. During the event, you’ll receive personalized, step-by-step guidance to bring your pet’s personality, charm, and character to life with paint!
Whether you’re a first-time painter or seasoned creative, this workshop is beginner-friendly, fun, and full of heart. All supplies are provided — just bring your creativity, your friends, and get ready for an unforgettable artistic experience at the beautiful Beach Terrace Inn.
Beach Terrace is Carlsbad’s only true beachfront hotel. Recently renovated and family-owned since the 1960s, our 48-room boutique features private balconies, over sized rooms, and private beach access. This event will take place in their private community entertainment room with ocean views, a full kitchen and the opportunity to bring your own wine and food! Maximum occupancy is 30 guests and is family friendly for children 7yrs and up. This is an indoor event and welcoming.

We encourage artistic freedom! You can alter the painting to fit your style and use any of our colors.
Things to know:
- We require a 48-hour notice for cancellations/rescheduling.
- Refunds must be requested within 3 days of purchase. After 3 days a credit will be given.
- Check-in begins 15 minutes before the event start time. Give yourself time to park to avoid arriving late.
- Painting and Vino is not responsible for paint on customer or venue property.
- No outside food or drink is allowed. They are available for purchase. Wine is not included in your ticket purchase.
