This is a "Replay" of a live online event, instructed by Master Artist, Desiree Soria-Wilson. She will guide you step-by-step through the process of re-creating this delicate pastel landscape painting, "Dusty Dandelions" while using acrylic paints on a 16x20 canvas. Join her live for an interactive experience while enjoying all the comforts of your home. This event is good for ages 13+, so feel free to invite your entire household to participate.

Materials are not included and must be purchased ahead of time to have available for this event. 

Canvas - Choose any size (Instructors will be using 16x20 (gallery-wrapped canvas)
Brushes - We suggest having at least; 1 large flat brush, 1 medium flat, and 1 small round brush.
Paint - You'll want to use acrylic paint. We suggest you have at least the primary colors (white, black, red, blue, yellow), but you can use violet, orange, green, and brown in addition if you'd like.
Water Cup - For cleaning your brushes.
Paper Towel or Cleaning Rag - This will be used to clean any spills or drips.
Palette - You can use a paper plate, or a wood or plastic artist palette.
Apron - We suggest you wear an apron or at least clothing you do not mind getting stained with paint.
Ruler - Having a ruler will be helpful but not required.

  • Master Artist

    Desirée Soria-Wilson is a self-taught artist who grew up in Arizona. Having recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies- with emphasis in Science, Technology, Health and Society- she moved out to Northern California to pursue her career. Over the past few years she has been lucky enough to do leisure travel. Among her favorite experiences have been visiting the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibit at The Heard Museum in Phoenix, the MoMA in New York, and The Dalí Museum in Tampa. In addition to Frida Kahlo, Desirée’s muses are the likes of Vincent Van Gogh, John Tenniel (think Alice in Wonderland), H.R. Giger, Pablo Picasso, and Rembrandt.
